It’s time for MARC’s annual Christmas Party which takes the place of our December meeting.
For new members, and old members that have forgotten, the Club holds this party each year to celebrate Christmas. This party is for the family. Each brings a favorite dish to share and the Club furnishes the meat and drinks.
An evening of great fellowship at this time of the year together among our members and their families!
The party will be held at the Milford Masonic Temple, 32 Water St., Milford OH on Saturday, December 10th.
This location on Water St. is in Old downtown Milford between Main St and the river behind the bank. Take Garfield Ave Northwest off Main St to Water. Turn left and you’re at the Temple. After 6:30 P.M. you can park in the Bank lot or any other time on the street, across the street in the empty lot or the lot on the right side of the Temple.
We will gather around 6:30 P.M. and probably eat around 7:00 P.M.
We need to have a count, so send me an e-mail, call on phone, leave a message, send a letter… Anything you can with your count.
Tnx
CU THERE!

Communicators needed – East Fork Triathlon & Duathlon on 08/07/2011 (Sunday)
The local amateur radio community is again being asked to provide communicators for this event. You are receiving this message because you volunteered last year or you are listed as a Clermont County RACES member . Please let me know if you have an interest in volunteering again this year. If so, let me know if you have a location preference.
Our function is to monitor parts of the bike course for emergencies, provide athlete status on the course if requested, and provide communications interoperability if needed. Volunteers should be able to operate from their vehicles parked in locations near and along the course although some additional leg work with handhelds may be needed at some locations to adequately monitor the course. Some locations may also have interaction with served agencies (Clermont County Communications Center, HFP Racing, Clermont County Sheriff, Ohio Department of Natural Resources – Park Rangers).
VHF (2M) communications capability is a requirement and UHF (70cm) is a plus. Our involvement will run from 7:45 am to approximately Noon. Volunteers need to arrive in the general area between 7:15 am and 7:30 am.
All volunteers are invited (but not required) to stay for the post-race food & drink at the beach area.
Anyone interested in volunteering or wanting additional information can contact me via E-Mail kb8qxq@arrl.net.

An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site. It originated as the modern equivalent of a traditional bulletin board, and a technological evolution of the dialup bulletin board system. From a technological standpoint, forums or boards are web applications managing user-generated content.
People participating in an Internet forum may cultivate social bonds and interest groups for a topic may form from the discussions.
