The Milford Amateur Radio Club (MARC) will be having our annual club picnic in conjunction with the Ohio State Parks On The Air – OSPOTA contesting event.
This fun event will be taking place at East Fork State Park Saturday September 8, 2012.
Location: Turkey Ridge Shelter which is identified on the map (top right corner).
Contest: The OSPOTA contest begins at 12:00 and runs to 8:00 PM.
Picnic: The club sponsored picnic starts at 6PM. The club provides the meat, drinks and we ask you to bring a side dish to share. This is a great family event, so make sure you bring your spouse, significant other, etc., and don’t forget the kids! The picnic will be at the Turkey Ridge Shelter which is identified on the map.

Setup: 9:00 AM (same day).
Operation Details: We are planning on operating three stations. We will using a wire loop, 40/80m NVIS and G5RV Jr. antenna’s.
If you are a new club member or a Technician you are welcome to come and operate SSB. We will have control operators so you can operate SSB and frequencies where your current license does not permit you to operate. If you get there during the setup you will be able to see the antenna’s being assembled and put in place.

Shouldn’t there be a “X” marks the spot somewhere on the map? Or am I missing something as to the location.
