What is Twitter?
On the “Twitter” drop down menu item and in the right column I have it set up to get twitter posts (tweets) related to Ham Radio that are identified with a #hamradio or #hamr hashtag. I also added a couple of local hams and our own Twitter name of “MilfordARC”. I will be using it to promote club activities as much as possible. There are a lot of hams that use twitter. Twitter is a privately funded startup with offices in the SoMA neighborhood of San Francisco, CA. Started as a side project in March of 2006, Twitter has grown into a real-time short messaging service that works over multiple networks and devices.

How To Use Twitter
Facebook is a global social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.[1] Users can add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Additionally, users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region. The website’s name stems from the colloquial name of books given at the start of the academic year by university administrations with the intention of helping students get to know each other better.
